Order Process

After the order form with the logo(s) and any additional instructions is submitted, a digital proof will be prepared and provided via email within 1 business day for your review and approval along with payment instructions.

NOE: There is no payment or order commitment required when submitting the order form.

Logo/Artwork Format

For best results we recommend submitting artwork and images in an editable vector format (.eps .ai .svg .cdr), however in most cases we can also work with good quality/high resolution raster images (.jpg .png .bmp). All artwork will be digitized so that necessary changes (removing colors and backgrounds) can be made to prepare the artwork for engraving.

When working with complex or low quality artwork that requires extensive cleanup/preparation, an artwork setup fee of $10 to $20 may apply.

Engraving Appearance (Color)

Our decanter are laser engraved rather than printed on, therefore we are unable to re-create different colors or gradients. The engraving mark will have a frosted white mark against the clear crystal background.

Different Logo on Decanter & Glasses

Pricing listed on our website includes setup fee for 1 artwork/logo. While we can certainly accommodate engraving different artwork on the decanter and glasses, a setup fee of $15 for each additional logo/artwork used will apply.

Engraving on the Back of Decanter / Glasses

Pricing listed on our website includes engraving on one location (i.e. the front of the decanter / glasses). When engraving on the back (in addition to the front) the following secondary engraving fees will apply:

Back of Decanter: +$30
Back of Glasses (set of 4): +$40

The Wellington whiskey decanter by Ravenscroft Crystal is the classic heavy spirits decanter. Handcrafted in Europe, all Ravenscroft Crystal decanters are produced from ancient mineral deposits free of impurities. Using such materials eliminates the need to add lead in order to produce brilliant crystal. The clean uncompromising design makes the perfect gift for any spirits enthusiast. The set combines the Wellington decanter with a set of 4 heavy bottomed double old fashioned glasses for a contemporary look. Personalized engraving adds that special touch transforming a memorable gift into a treasured keepsake.

The Engraving Process

Engraving Process

We use a computerized laser engraving process that creates a permanent frosted white engraving mark against the clear crystal background. As opposed to sand blasting, this highly accurate method of engraving does not create a deep groove but lightly etches the surface of the crystal, allowing us to work with even the most intricate and highly detailed designs.

Artwork Color

Since our crystal products are engraved rather than printed or color filled, the engraving mark will have a uniform, frosted white appearance against the clear crystal background with a lightly textured feel to the touch. As such, we are unable to re-create different colors or gradients therefore all artwork will be represented in a single color clipart/lineart format.
